Jim has a broad, global, technical and business background of over 30 years in a variety of management and general management roles. Previous employers range from incubated start up companies to mature, global enterprises such as General Electric and Raychem Corporation. Jim holds twelve US patents and has extensive experience commercializing innovative new technologies.
Immediately prior to co-founding Bay Materials with Ray Stewart, Jim was an independent business development consultant, helping clients create value by providing support for activities ranging from strategic planning to business development, opportunity appraisal, organizational development, technology acquisition, and process improvement and standardization.
